Current Status

In 2012, in response to safety and environmental concerns, the Halong Bay Management Board decided to relocate all residents of the floating villages to the mainland. Despite this, the village continues to boast a breathtaking landscape characterized by floating houses, with locals engaging in fishing and boat rowing activities for the enjoyment of tourists.
